Information

The swimming action

A rear-fixed weight loads the popper for long casts and keeps it stable and upright on landing, ready to fire immediately. The tuned mouth cup throws a clear, sharp popping sound even off a light rod-tip jerk, with a splash that scales up with lure size.

When to throw it

Fished from rock, surf and harbour marks or from a boat for aomono (blue-back pelagics), mahi-mahi, bonito, tuna and hirasuzuki working bait on the surface. Best when fish are actively feeding up top, particularly around bait balls, current lines and structure at first and last light.

How to work it

Work it with sharp, rhythmic rod-tip jerks to pop and chug, pausing to let the ring of disturbance settle before the next pull. Vary the cadence and pause length until fish commit, and be ready for a strike the moment it lands.

The setup it likes

Suits a heavy-power popping or spinning rod matched to a 4000-6000 reel, 30-40 lb braid and a 40-50 lb fluorocarbon or wire leader for toothy, hard-fighting pelagics.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
