When to throw it

Suited to stocked area-trout ponds and small lakes, particularly for pressured fish that shy away from bulkier lures — a slim natural profile earns follows and bites when standard minnows are refused.

How to work it

A slow, steady retrieve keeps the subtle roll working; occasional pauses let it glide and settle, which is often when the take comes. Best fished on light, sensitive tackle so the bite registers instantly.
