AALGLATT CERBERUS (ケルベロス) is a two-piece spinning rod series from AALGLATT's Free Style rod lineup. The line-up spans an Ultra Light freestyle model built for area trout, bass and light saltwater games, Medium-Light and Medium-Heavy versatile models for bass, catfish, seabass and rockfish, up to a Heavy model built to work jigs, worms and big baits.

Every CERBERUS blank is a center-cut 2-piece build reinforced at the butt section with multi-axis carbon for rigidity against the blank crushing or twisting under casting and hook-set loads, paired with a simple, hard-EVA straight grip designed to minimise hand movement during casting, retrieving and fighting fish.

The blank

The center-cut two-piece blank is reinforced with multi-axis carbon at the butt section, so it resists twisting and crushing under casting and hook-set loads, while still flexing smoothly through the tip on the lighter models and loading well into the mid-section on the Medium-Heavy and Heavy builds when a bigger fish leans on the rod.

What it's built for

The range covers area-trout ponds and light saltwater games on the Ultra Light model, general bass, catfish and seabass water on the Medium-Light and Medium-Heavy models, and heavier jig and worm fishing on the Heavy model, making it a do-it-all series for anglers who fish more than one style off the same rod rack through the season.

How it fishes

Retrieve style follows the lure in hand: light spoons and small plugs worked slowly on the UL model, worms, jigs and crankbaits fished with more pace on the mid-power models, and larger baits worked deliberately on the Heavy, with the straight hard-EVA grip keeping hand position consistent through the cast, retrieve and fight regardless of which model is in use.

The setup it likes

Pair a light or UL CERBERUS with a 1000-2500 spinning reel and 2-4lb line for trout and light bass work, and a Medium-Light to Heavy model with a 2500-4000 reel and 8-16lb line or PE1-2 braid with a short fluorocarbon leader for bass, catfish, seabass and rockfish.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
