The Sonicboom SB Dive is a floating dive-pencil built around the MAG BULLET magnetic weight-transfer system, moving its weight as a single block for a strong burst of thrust on the cast. A flat-sided body improves water grip and control on the retrieve, and through-wire construction with a thick-shank twin-hook set-up is built for fighting big fish.

A natural-swimming diving pencil aimed at wary or low-activity fish, suiting rock shores and open ground where a subtle, flat-sided dive presentation is needed over an aggressive popper. It also suits low-light periods around dawn and dusk, when fish move shallower and closer to structure to feed.

A steady retrieve digs the flat side into the water for control; slow down over structure or add gentle sweeps to keep it diving and swimming naturally without an erratic action. Change the retrieve speed through the cast to find what triggers fish on the day, since preference can shift between sessions.

Suits a 9'-10' MH seabass or hiramasa spinning rod, a 5000-6000 reel, PE2.5-3.5 braid and a 30-40 lb fluorocarbon leader, matched to its 80 m cast rating.
