Description

The 24CALCUTTA CONQUEST SHALLOW EDITION (24 Calcutta Conquest Shallow Edition) is a shallow-spool version of the Calcutta Conquest, built for technical bass fishing with lighter lures. Its MGL Spool III uses a shallow 33/19mm format with nylon 8lb-100m capacity, paired with the SVS Infinity centrifugal brake for a light start-up and smooth pinpoint casts at close range.

The Infinity Drive and Micro Module Gear carry over from the standard Calcutta Conquest, keeping the series' signature retrieve power.

Sizes: 30HG, 31HG. Gear ratio 7.4, max drag 4kg, self-weight 220g, max retrieve 77cm per handle turn.

Information

The drivetrain

A shallow 33/19mm MGL Spool III cuts rotating mass for technical work with lighter lures, paired with the SVS Infinity centrifugal brake for a light start-up and smooth, pinpoint casts at close range rather than maximum distance.

What it's built for

Built for technical bass fishing where accuracy and control with lighter lures around cover matters more than long-range casting, keeping the standard Calcutta Conquest's retrieve power in a lighter-lure-focused package.

How it fishes

Infinity Drive and the Micro Module Gear carry over from the standard Calcutta Conquest, so the retrieve stays smooth and powerful even though the spool itself is tuned for lighter lures than the standard model.

Spools and spares

Pair with a medium-light to medium fast-action baitcasting rod and 8–14 lb fluorocarbon, matched to the reel's own 8 lb-100m nylon-rated shallow spool.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
