Description

The ALDEBARAN DC is Shimano's small-diameter DC-brake baitcasting reel, built around the Magnum Light Spool IV and the latest I-DC5 brake. Reverse-taper spool shaping keeps line lay even and reduces spool vibration for a long, low-trajectory cast; the compact 30mm-diameter/19mm-width spool keeps rotational inertia low. I-DC5 combines a 3-mode (L/M/H) dial with a 5-stage brake dial for 15 total brake settings, letting anglers dial in trouble-free casting regardless of line type. Silent Tune and an S3D-cut spool add further quietness and smooth spin-up, while Micro Module Gear, X-Ship and a HAGANE body handle the drivetrain and rigidity. What size should I choose?
