The CALCUTTA CONQUEST BFS (カルカッタコンクエストBFS) is Shimano's only round-body Bait Finesse System reel, its cold-forged, precision-cut circular body built for light-lure fishing for black bass and stream trout. Per Shimano's official page, it carries the low-inertia Magnum Light Spool III and the new FTB (Finesse Tune Brake), which widens the brake unit's adjustment stroke and brings magnetic drag at the lightest setting close to zero, enabling roughly 1g-class flip casts. X-Ship, a carbon-cloth drag washer, and Exciting Drag Sound round out the finesse-focused spec, and — like the 21 CALCUTTA CONQUEST — the body is low-profile for natural palming.
