The Major Craft Tachi Jigi Dojo Standard is a metal jig designed specifically for tachiuo (cutlassfish) jigging, built to produce automatic action on an easy one-pitch jerk — an accessible, all-round starting point for the technique. A low centre-of-gravity shape with a smoothed rear section reduces water resistance for a fast, stable fall. This 180g model is finished in the Red Gold colourway.
It's fitted with Major Craft's own penetration-focused Japanese-made hooks, the Tachi Jigi Dojo 4-Hook and Tachi Jigi Dojo Assist Hook, built to convert bites from a fish notorious for its soft take.
