Description

The Jigpara Ender TG is Major Craft's tungsten metal jig, built around a thoroughly compact silhouette with a slightly rear-weighted balance that opens up a range of actions. Fit an assist hook to the front for anything from super-light and light jigging offshore through to shore jigging — a one-pitch retrieve gives a darting, head-shaking action, while a long fall settles into a horizontal drop suited to bottom-hugging fish.

Fit a blade hook to the rear instead and it switches to blade jigging, with a stable body balance at high-speed retrieve that keeps the blade working. The simple design takes custom hook setups well, so it can be tuned to different fields and targets as conditions demand.

Information

The swimming action

A compact tungsten jig with a slightly rear-weighted balance that opens up a wide range of actions. Fitted with an assist hook it darts and shakes on a one-pitch retrieve or falls flat and horizontal on a long drop; fitted with a blade instead it runs stable at high retrieve speed for blade jigging.

When to throw it

Its compact, dense tungsten body suits everything from super-light and light jigging offshore through to shore jigging, wherever a smaller silhouette or faster sink rate is needed to reach fish holding deep or in current.

How to work it

Run an assist hook up front for a one-pitch jerk-and-fall or a long horizontal drop over bottom-hugging fish, or swap to a rear blade hook for blade jigging at a fast, steady retrieve. The simple body takes custom hook rigs well.

The setup it likes

Suits a light-to-medium jigging rod, a 3000-4000 spinning or small conventional reel, PE 1.0-1.5 braid and a 20-30 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.
