Information

The swimming action

Pugachev's Cobra 90 is a 90 mm, 12 g seabass pencil bait with buoyancy trimmed right down to prioritise suck-in and improve hook-up rate, responding sharply to rod action with a sliding motion that snaps the head through a near-90-degree turn.

When to throw it

It's designed to counter the missed bites common in topwater seabass fishing, suiting harbours, tidal flats, river mouths, rivers, rocky shorelines and offshore areas.

How to work it

Work it with sharp, rhythmic rod strokes to trigger that side-turning slide; short pauses between series give following fish a chance to commit.

The setup it likes

Pair with an ML 7–8 ft spinning rod, a 2500–3000 reel, 8–10 lb (PE 0.8–1) braid and a 14–16 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
