Description

The Gulp! Saltwater PulseWorm 4 inch is part of Berkley's Gulp! range, built on the brand's water-based scent-and-flavour Formula. A ribbed body shape creates the PulseWorm line's signature pulse (vibration) as it's worked through the water, drawing rockfish to the bait.

It's supplied at 4 inches — a larger profile than the 3.2 inch version in the same PulseWorm line — and comes in a 7-colour range covering solid, glow and clear finishes.

Information

The swimming action

A larger profile than the 3.2 inch Pulse Worm, keeping the same ribbed body that creates the line's signature pulsing vibration as it is worked through the water, drawing rockfish onto the bait from a wider area given the extra bulk.

When to throw it

Aimed at the same rockfish species as the 3.2 inch size, plus mebaru, akou and kasago, with the bigger profile suited to slightly deeper, more coloured water or larger fish holding tight to structure and heavier current year-round on most marks.

How to work it

Fish slowly along the bottom on a jig head or light Texas rig, using a drag or lift-and-fall retrieve to keep the ribbed body pulsing between pauses, slowing down further in cold water when fish are less willing to chase.

The setup it likes

A slightly firmer ML rockfish or general-purpose spinning rod suits the bigger bait, matched to a 2500 reel loaded with PE 0.8-1.2 braid or 8-12 lb fluorocarbon main line and finished with an 8-12 lb fluorocarbon leader for extra abrasion resistance around structure.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
