Description

The Berkley Gulp! Nemesis 5inch is a scent-infused soft plastic lure from Berkley's Gulp! Saltwater range, built with a slim baitfish body and a thick curly tail that churns the water to create a strong, wide-reaching vibration and pull fish in from a distance.

It suits slower presentations where a straight or fin-tail worm moves too fast, working well on a dart-style jighead (sold separately) or a free rig. This 5inch size comes packed 5 to a bag and is suited to an offset hook around size 3/0–5/0.

Information

The swimming action

A slim baitfish body carrying a thick curly tail that churns the water for a strong, wide-reaching vibration, built to pull fish in from a distance rather than rely on visual profile alone in stained or low-light water conditions after dark.

When to throw it

Suited to slower presentations where a straight or fin-tail worm moves too fast for the fish or the conditions, such as coloured water, a slack tide, or fish that are holding tight to structure rather than actively chasing a moving bait.

How to work it

Works well on a dart-style jighead or a free rig, fished with a slow, steady retrieve so the curly tail keeps churning without the bait moving too far too fast for cautious or slow-feeding fish to catch up to it.

The setup it likes

A slightly firmer ML rockfish or general-purpose spinning rod suits the bigger bait, matched to a 2500 reel loaded with PE 0.8-1.2 braid or 8-12 lb fluorocarbon main line and finished with an 8-12 lb fluorocarbon leader for extra abrasion resistance around structure.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
