Description

Gulp! Big Earthworm (Big Earthworm) is part of Berkley's Gulp! earthworm-style soft bait line. Like other Gulp! Earthworm products, it uses Berkley's water-based Gulp! material, which the maker states disperses scent far beyond ordinary soft plastics, and it is supplied in a jar to eliminate live-bait handling.

Berkley markets its Gulp! earthworm baits as effective across a range of freshwater species, including bass, panfish, trout, bluegill and carp.

Information

The swimming action

A straight, worm-shaped soft plastic with a subtle tail kick on the fall and very little action of its own on a slow retrieve. The Gulp! water-based material disperses scent well beyond an unscented plastic worm, which does most of the work of holding a fish's interest.

When to throw it

A freshwater all-rounder for bass, plus panfish, bluegill, trout and carp, suited to slow, methodical fishing around cover, drop-offs and structure where a natural fall and long pause draw more interest than a fast-moving bait, particularly in cooler water or heavy fishing pressure.

How to work it

Rig weightless, on a Texas rig or on a light jig head and work with a slow drag-and-pause or a gentle lift-and-fall, giving the bait time to sit and release scent between movements rather than dragging it steadily back to the rod tip.

The setup it likes

A 6'6"-7'0" medium spinning or baitcasting rod suits this bait, run on a 2500 spinning reel or a low-profile baitcaster loaded with 10-14 lb fluorocarbon or braid, stepping up to a similar-class fluorocarbon leader when fishing tight to heavy cover.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
