Information

The swimming action

Bagration is an 80 mm, 13 g sinking jerkbait with a knife-edge back that transmits jerks straight into a sharp, snappy dart, plus a flat-sided body that throws a strong flash; between jerks it settles into a rolling fall.

When to throw it

Built around Apia's own 'Baguru' technique — winding it back fast along light-and-shadow edges such as bridge piers — for tight-range attacks on small spots and structure, including water that already looks fished out.

How to work it

Work it with sharp jerks and short pauses to bring out the dart-and-roll action, or try winding it back at speed along structure edges for the Baguru technique; either way it fishes best at close range.

The setup it likes

Suits a light-to-medium seabass spinning rod (ML power), a 2500-size reel, 8–10 lb fluorocarbon or 0.6–0.8 PE braid with a fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

VAT is collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery for standard orders.
