Description

Xesta Slow Emotion for Spin Slow Jerk is a spinning-reel slow jigging series developed to combine a spinning rod's wide-angle casting and retrieve range with slow-jigging technique, built for jig self-action off the rod's rebound and enough sensitivity to feel bites during the fall.

S651 is the lightest model in this listing, handling high-pitch jigs up to 150g and slow jigging up to 200g, tuned for shallow water around 50m or slack-tide conditions. S653 is the power-3 model, built for high-pitch up to 250g and slow jigging up to 300g, with a supple stroke and belly-to-butt backbone for fast currents and deeper water.

Information

The blank

A spinning-reel slow-jigging series built for jig self-action off the rod's rebound, with enough sensitivity to feel bites during the fall; the S651 gives a lighter, shallower-water feel and the S653 adds belly-to-butt backbone for faster currents.

What it's built for

Combines a spinning rod's wide-angle casting and retrieve range with slow-jigging technique, with the S651 suited to shallow water around 50m or slack tide, and the S653 suited to deeper water and stronger current.

How it fishes

Let the rod's rebound work the jig on the fall rather than driving hard strokes, watching for the take as the jig sinks, since most strikes on this style of slow jigging come during the drop.

The setup it likes

Pair with a 4000–8000 offshore spinning reel, PE2–3 mainline and a fluorocarbon leader suited to depth and current, choosing the S651 for shallow water or the S653 for deeper, faster-moving conditions.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.
