Description

The Tackle House Rolling Bait RB88 is the second model in the Rolling Bait series, released in 2002. It is 88mm long and weighs 24g, rigged with ST-46 #6 hooks on #3 split rings. It is a sinking lure. Compared with the original 77, the size increase adds weight and casting distance.

The RB88 covers larger seabass as its main target, and its extra size and casting range also suit boat-fishing for species such as young yellowtail (inada) and bonito (katsuo).

Information

The swimming action

The RB88 keeps the family's tight rolling wobble on a straight retrieve and falls on a steady horizontal glide; the extra size over the 77 adds bulk and casting weight without changing the core action.

When to throw it

Covers larger seabass from shore and boat marks, and its casting range and profile also suit boat sessions for young yellowtail (inada) and bonito (katsuo) when they show on the surface.

How to work it

A straight retrieve at low-to-medium speed works it best, with pauses on semi-slack line to let the horizontal fall register when searching current lines and structure.

The setup it likes

Suits a M spinning or baitcasting rod, 3000-4000 reel, 10-14 lb braid and a 20-30 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
