Information

The swimming action

A scaled-down version of the Grasshopper keeping the same form and action as the original, sized down to the limit; the Suspending tune hangs at a fixed depth on the pause.

When to throw it

Well suited to technical, high-pressure fishing — drifting through flowing-water areas or holding station in the mid-layer of stocked ponds where fish have grown wary of standard-size plugs.

How to work it

Drift it naturally through current on flowing water, or hold it station in the mid-layer of stillwater with slow twitches and long pauses.

The setup it likes

Suits an ultralight trout rod, a 1000 reel, 2 lb (PE0.2) main line and a 2-3 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
