The smallest plug in the Shikeida cicada-pattern line-up; the Sinking version drops to around 120cm, letting it be fished slower and deeper through the column than the Floating tune.

When to throw it

Built for finesse area-trout fishing on shallow pools, skinny water and heavily-pressured stocked ponds where a subtle, compact profile draws more attention than a standard-size plug.

How to work it

A slow, twitch-and-pause retrieve suits it best; let it settle on the pause to hold a chosen depth and keep movements small given the lure's scaled-down size.

Suited to an ultralight area-trout rod, a 1000 reel, 2 lb (PE0.2) main line and a 2-3 lb fluorocarbon leader for delicate presentations.
