Information

The swimming action

The RC Baby Shad 40 DIVE-F Armor is a small floating diving minnow, its '40' name denoting a compact 40mm body built for area-trout fishing. As a floating diver it noses down and wobbles on the retrieve, then rises back to the surface on the pause.

When to throw it

A compact hard minnow for stocked trout ponds, useful as a search bait over shallow flats or near cover where a small diving profile suits pressured or wary fish.

How to work it

Fish it on a straight retrieve to hold the dive and wobble, or add pauses to let it rise and hover before the next pull, which often draws a following trout to commit.

The setup it likes

Suits a UL to L area-trout rod, a 1000–2000 spinning reel, 2–3 lb fluorocarbon main line and a short fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
