Description

The Nissin PRO SPEC 2WAY Tenkara uses a 2WAY system that adjusts a single rod between two lengths, so one rod can cover multiple tenkara situations without carrying extra rods. It has a hyotan-shaped cork grip and supple carbon solid tips built with Nissin's WHIRL construction.

This listing stocks the 7:3 action, 3608 length: adjustable 3.60m–3.10m, 8 pieces, 57cm closed, 80g, 0.65mm tip / 11.5mm butt diameter, 86% carbon content; recommended tippet is 0.8-1.2 go.

Information

The blank

The 7:3 action shifts more of the bend into the tip section than the 6:4 model, giving a faster, more positive tenkara cast while keeping the same 2WAY adjustable length and WHIRL carbon construction.

What it's built for

Suited to mountain-stream tenkara fishing where a slightly faster action helps with accuracy at range or in windier conditions.

How it fishes

Cast and drift the fly using standard tenkara technique, relying on the faster tip for a more direct hookset than a softer 6:4 rod.

The setup it likes

Pair with 0.8–1.2号 tenkara line and a fine tippet, fished without a reel.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
