Description

The Nissin PRO SPEC 2WAY Tenkara uses a 2WAY system that adjusts a single rod between two lengths, so one rod can cover multiple tenkara situations without carrying extra rods. It has a hyotan-shaped cork grip and supple carbon solid tips built with Nissin's WHIRL construction (83–86% carbon content).

This listing stocks the 6:4 action in two lengths: 3207 (adjustable 3.15m–2.70m, 7 pieces, 57cm closed) and 3608 (adjustable 3.60m–3.10m, 8 pieces, 57cm closed); recommended tippet is 0.8-1.2 go.

Information

The blank

A 2WAY system lets a single rod adjust between two lengths, with supple carbon solid tips built using Nissin's WHIRL construction giving a soft, accurate presentation for tenkara casting.

What it's built for

Suited to mountain-stream tenkara fishing for yamame, iwana and other native trout, where the adjustable length covers both tight, brushy water and more open pools from one rod.

How it fishes

Present the fly with tenkara's fixed-line casting and drift technique, using the soft tip to keep light tippet from breaking on a strike.

The setup it likes

Pair with 0.8–1.2号 level or tapered tenkara line and a fine tippet, fished without a reel.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
