The tungsten Multi-Way Moving Balancer System shifts weight to the tail on the cast, then locks forward on the retrieve. The result is the darting action the ONETEN is famous for: a tight rolling flash on every twitch, then a dead-stop hang that pressured bass cannot leave alone.

A clear-water, cool-water weapon. It earns its keep from pre-spawn through early summer and again in autumn, when bass track slow-moving baitfish. When the water is pressured and fish follow but refuse, the long suspending pause is what converts lookers into biters.

Two sharp twitches on a semi-slack line, then a pause. Let it sit longer in cold water, sometimes to a count of five or more. The strike almost always comes on the pause, so watch the line, not the lure.

A 6'6" to 7' medium-light or medium rod with a softer tip keeps the trebles pinned. Pair with 8 to 12 lb fluorocarbon to get the lure down to its running band and keep the suspend honest — heavy line makes it rise, light line makes it sink.
