Information

The swimming action

A ready-to-fish wind-style rig pairing a glow jig head with a slim soft-plastic worm, built for a light-tension dart action with a slim, bite-inducing silhouette that suits wary tachiuo.

When to throw it

Built for tachiuo (cutlassfish/hairtail) fishing, day or night, where a slim wind-style profile and glow head draw strikes from fish keyed onto small, subtle bait movements rather than large jigs.

How to work it

Cast or drop and work it with a light-tension wind retrieve -- slow, steady turns of the reel handle with the rod held low -- letting the worm's tail do the work rather than jerking the rod. The glow stick and wire leader are included ready to fish.

The setup it likes

Matches a light tachiuo rod, a 2500-3000 spinning reel, PE 0.8-1.2 braid and a wire or heavy fluorocarbon leader to resist the species' teeth.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
