Description

Flash-J Shad 2in (Flash-J Shad 2in) uses a tail design that deliberately mimics a weak, frail baitfish: the maker thins the joint between body and tail and keeps the tail itself smaller, producing a more natural swimming action. This gives it its greatest strength in drawing and hooking fish in clear water.

Because it doesn't add much retrieve resistance, it also pairs well with Alabama rigs and wheel-heads (wheel-heads). Target species: bass. Packed 7 per pack.

This listing stocks a selection of the officially released colourways.

Information

The swimming action

A shad-tail worm whose tail joint is deliberately thinned and the tail itself kept small, mimicking a weak, frail baitfish for a more natural swimming action than a standard paddle tail.

When to throw it

Its greatest strength is drawing and hooking fish in clear water, and it pairs well with Alabama rigs and wheel-heads because it adds little retrieve resistance. It suits the same cover-fishing and reservoir bank situations that UK and European bass anglers already use similar-sized baits for.

How to work it

Swim it steadily on a jig head at a moderate pace; because it doesn't load up the rod much, you can fish it faster than a bulkier swimbait without it blowing out.

The setup it likes

6'6 inch-7'0 inch ML spinning rod, 2500 reel, 5-8 lb fluorocarbon. This gives enough backbone to drive trebles or a single hook home on the strike while staying light enough to cast the bait accurately all day.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
