Information

The swimming action

A stabiliser fin on the head keeps the body settled through the retrieve, giving a natural swimming posture closer to a sinking pencil bait than a typical metal jig.

When to throw it

Built for surf fishing over shallow, gently sloping ground where flatfish strike from below, with the low-density zinc body staying manageable even in skinny water.

How to work it

Let it fall and flutter on the drop, then work it back with a straight retrieve; the two-hook set-up is aimed at increasing hook-up rate on fish that hit from underneath.

The setup it likes

Suits a surf spinning rod around 10-11ft, a 4000-5000 size reel, PE1.5-2 and a 20-25 lb fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

VAT is collected at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
