Description

Metal Zinari is Jackall's sinking metal vibration lure for seabass, built around a rip-shaped weight designed to shrug off snags on oyster-bed and rocky bottoms. The 24g size measures 63mm and is rated SINKING, with a stainless plate and zinc weight construction for durability against repeated bottom contact and casting knocks.

Suited to long-range casting, daytime reaction bites, fast-flowing water and deeper marks where a compact, high-strength metal vibe is needed. The zinc weight also transmits bottom contact more clearly than a lead equivalent.

Information

The swimming action

A lip-shaped zinc weight is built to glance off bottom obstacles such as oyster beds and rip-rap rather than snag, striking the bottom and lifting the tail to reduce hang-ups on structure.

When to throw it

Suited to long casts into fast currents and deep, snag-prone seabass water where a standard vibration bait would hang up on structure that this lure is built to shrug off.

How to work it

Cast and retrieve on a straight or lift-and-fall cadence, letting the zinc weight bump bottom occasionally; zinc transmits contact more clearly through the rod than an equivalent lead weight would.

The setup it likes

A medium-power seabass spinning rod, a 2500-3000 size reel, PE0.8-1.2 braid and a 16-20lb fluorocarbon leader suit this snag-resistant, bottom-contact presentation in fast current and deep, structure-heavy water all year-round.
