Description

The NAKATA JIG is a bass rubber jig developed with professional angler Hiroki Nakata around the concept of "action-inducing weight". Its flat head resists tipping over and is moulded from high-purity tungsten resin for extra bottom sensitivity, while the line-eye and hook positioning let the jig stand upright under tension. Shaking the rod lifts the trailer off the head's pivot point so it moves freely.

This listing is the 1/2oz size.

Information

The swimming action

A flat, tungsten-resin head resists tipping over and stands the jig upright under tension, while the line-eye and hook positioning let a rod shake lift the trailer off the head's pivot point for free, natural movement.

When to throw it

A bottom-contact bass jig suited to structure and cover where a jig that stands upright and telegraphs bottom detail through high-purity tungsten resin is a real advantage on rock and gravel.

How to work it

Work it with a drag-and-shake presentation along the bottom, letting the flat head's stability and the pivoting trailer do the work; pause it to let the jig settle upright between movements.

The setup it likes

A medium-heavy baitcasting rod, a reel geared around 6:1-7:1 and 14-17lb fluorocarbon suit this jig's bottom-contact, structure-fishing presentation on rock, gravel and mixed cover right through the whole open-water season.

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.
