Evergreen Grass Ripper 3/8oz

The Evergreen Grass Ripper 3/8oz is a skirted rubber jig designed by pro angler Kenta Onishi, built around a narrow, triangular head that slips into grass and cover and pulls back out again, with a V-keel underside and a compact, low-centre-of-gravity rear. It carries a heavy 4/0 wire hook shared across the whole Grass Ripper range, a wire keeper that holds the trailer securely without splitting it, and a silicone rubber skirt set behind a firm brush guard that can be trimmed back for softer presentations.

It can be hopped as a reaction jig that pops up and drops straight back down through weed, or retrieved as a swimming jig with a shad-tail trailer, where the head's flat side panels generate a wobbling, water-pushing action. Aimed at bass fishing around grass, bushes, reeds and other heavy cover.
