Fishman Seadz Varuna (シーズヴァルナ, Seadz Varuna) is a jigging pack rod series built as 3-piece 4-axis carbon blanks with K-guides in titanium and stainless (titanium at the tip). This listing stocks the three official power classes:

J-631 – power class 2–3, for sakuramasu (cherry salmon), tachiuo (cutlassfish/beltfish) and hata (grouper) species, and small-to-mid pelagics up to around 10kg. 192cm (6.3ft), 130g, lure 80–200g, line PE0.8–2.5.
J-632 – power class 3.5–5, for kanpachi (greater amberjack), hiramasa (yellowtail amberjack), buri (Japanese amberjack), kihada (yellowfin tuna), tombo maguro (albacore) and hata (grouper/reef species) up to the 20kg class. 192cm (6.3ft), 133g, lure 150–300g, line PE1.5–4.
J-633 – power class 5.5–7, the series' top power model, built for kanpachi, tuna and hata species over 20kg. 192cm (6.3ft), 138g, lure 250–400g, line PE1.5–5.

All three are 3-piece pack rods with a 67.5cm packed length and 54.5cm grip.

Three official power classes share the same 3-piece, 4-axis carbon pack format and 192 cm length, scaling jig weight and line rating up through the range rather than changing the rod's basic character.

What it's built for

Built for offshore jigging by target size: the J-631 for smaller pelagics up to about 10 kg, the J-632 for amberjack and yellowfin up to 20 kg, and the J-633 for the largest kanpachi, tuna and hata over 20 kg.

How it fishes

Fished with a lift-and-drop vertical jigging retrieve, matching jig weight and jerk cadence to the power class in use and the depth being worked. Slow the cadence in cooler water and speed it up when fish are aggressive.

The setup it likes

Pair with a lever-drag or star-drag jigging reel and PE line matched to the model, from PE0.8-2.5 on the J-631 up to PE1.5-5 on the J-633, with a heavy fluorocarbon leader.
