Information

The swimming action

A slim saltwater shad-tail developed specifically for flatfish, with a non-salted belly designed for weighted rigs such as jigheads while preserving the body colour and Flash-J foil effect. The action holds up across the colour range on offer, so the presentation stays consistent regardless of which pattern you choose.

When to throw it

Surf and sandy-bottom sessions targeting hirame and other flatfish where a slim, low-resistance profile is preferred. Works well from open beaches and surf marks wherever flatfish are holding tight to the sandy or gravelly bottom.

How to work it

Fish it on a jig head with a slow swim close to the bottom, maintaining regular contact with the sand. Keep the jig head brushing bottom through the retrieve so you can register bites without extra slack building in the line.

The setup it likes

9'0 inch-10'0 inch M surf spinning rod, 4000-5000 reel, 1.2-1.5 PE braid, 20-25 lb fluorocarbon leader. This balances enough backbone for a solid hookset with enough softness in the tip to protect light hooks and leaders on the strike.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
