Information

The swimming action

A saltwater soft-plastic built around Flash-J's internal foil, which the maker says produces flash and sound as the body flexes, with a realistic baitfish silhouette. The action holds up across the colour range on offer, so the presentation stays consistent regardless of which pattern you choose.

When to throw it

Presented for fish-eating saltwater species including hairtail, rockfish, seabass and trevally. Works from both boat and shore marks wherever the target species is holding tight to structure or bottom contours.

How to work it

Works on both darting jig-head presentations and a straight retrieve; vary cadence to see whether fish want a twitch or a steady swim. Keep contact with the jig head through the retrieve so you can register bites without extra slack building in the line.

The setup it likes

8'0 inch-8'6 inch ML-M saltwater spinning rod, 3000-4000 reel, 1-1.5 PE braid, 20-25 lb fluorocarbon leader. This balances enough backbone for a solid hookset with enough softness in the tip to protect light hooks and leaders on the strike.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
