Information

The swimming action

The Flutter Gizmo's paired wings flutter and drag as it is worked along bottom, while fine silicone tail strands keep twitching even after the bait stops, giving small, lifelike movement that continues through every pause.

When to throw it

Suited to finesse bottom presentations for bass holding tight to structure, particularly in clear or pressured water where a subtle, slow-moving bait draws more looks than a fast-moving one.

How to work it

Rig it on a drop shot (a Ryugi Fogshot #5 or Hayabusa TNS Offset #2 works well) or a jig head such as a Ryugi Vespa 2.7g #2, then drag and shake it slowly so the wings and tail keep working.

The setup it likes

A light to medium spinning rod around 6.5-7ft with a 2500-size reel, 6-8lb fluorocarbon and a light drop shot or jig head suits this bait's slow, finesse-style presentation, with a sensitive enough tip to feel bites through the slack line this bait is fished on.
