Description

The Evergreen Bow Worm 8 is an 8-inch straight worm designed by Toshifumi Kikumoto, built with a reversed front-and-back rib structure that grips the water to create a distinctive fall and fine vibration designed to draw strikes from big bass. It ships 5 to a pack in #14 Ayu (Sweetfish).

Its bulky body gives real presence in the water and casts a long way, making it a strong choice whenever a big, visible profile is needed to pull bass in from a distance.

Information

The swimming action

The Bow Worm is a straight, salt-loaded worm with a reversed rib pattern front and back of the beltline that grips the water as it falls, producing a distinct fall-and-topple roll along with fine surface vibration on touchdown. The dense body casts well without added lead and holds a lifelike drop that big bass key onto.

When to throw it

It suits pressured bass around grass, wood and rock where a natural, slow-falling profile draws more looks than a moving bait. The bulkier 8in body casts a long way, making it a strong choice whenever a big, visible profile is needed to pull bass in from a distance.

How to work it

Pitch or cast it out and let it sink on a slack to controlled line, watching for the tap on the drop. Light twitches or a slow drag along bottom extend the bite window once it settles, and short hops keep the tail kicking without over-working the bait.

The setup it likes

A medium to medium-heavy 6'8"–7'2" baitcasting rod with 12–16lb fluorocarbon or 30–40lb braid to a 14–16lb leader suits the larger 8in size around heavier cover.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.
