Information

The swimming action

Rigged weightless with the hook set towards the tail tip, the flat-belly body wobbles through a horizontal-to-vertical fall while the ultra-thin tail flutters independently with a fine micro-vibration, with a larger profile than the 3.5in version for more displacement.

When to throw it

A senko-style stickbait for bass around cover, docks and vegetation edges, sized up from the 3.5in version for bulkier presentations or bigger fish. Suited to pressured water where a subtle, weightless fall still draws attention despite the larger size.

How to work it

Cast and let it fall on a slack or semi-slack line, twitching occasionally to trigger the tail flutter before letting it settle again. Most strikes come on the fall, so keep contact with the bait without pulling it off its natural drop.

The setup it likes

Evergreen recommends a medium-heavy baitcasting rod with 12-14lb line and a #3/0-4/0 offset hook for this size, fished weightless. The extra rod power helps handle the bigger bait and set the larger hook.
