Description

The Evergreen Bass Enemy 3.5 is a 3.5 inch high-density stick bait with a flat belly profile and a back rib-and-slit design for easy offset hook placement, plus an ultra-thin tail that flutters with a fine micro-vibration as the bait falls. It is blended with Evergreen's shrimp, squid and baitfish special formula scent and is a FECO Eco Tackle certified product, approved for use in JB and NBC tournaments.

Rigged weightless with the hook point set towards the tail tip, it wobbles through a horizontal-to-vertical fall while the thin tail flaps independently of the body; Evergreen recommends a medium-power baitcasting rod with 10-12lb line and a #2/0-3/0 hook for this size.

Information

The swimming action

Rigged weightless with the hook set towards the tail tip, the flat-belly body wobbles through a horizontal-to-vertical fall while the ultra-thin tail flutters independently with a fine micro-vibration. The back rib-and-slit design keeps the offset hook seated cleanly through repeated casts.

When to throw it

A senko-style stickbait for bass around cover, docks and vegetation edges where a natural, slow-falling presentation draws strikes. Suited to pressured water where a subtle, weightless fall gets more attention than a fast-moving bait.

How to work it

Cast and let it fall on a slack or semi-slack line, twitching occasionally to trigger the tail flutter before letting it settle again. Most strikes come on the fall, so keep contact with the bait without pulling it off its natural drop.

The setup it likes

Evergreen recommends a medium-power baitcasting rod with 10-12lb line and a #2/0-3/0 offset hook for this size, fished weightless. A 7ft rod with a moderate tip helps load up on the take before the hookset.
