Evergreen 2020 Head Shaker 5

The 2020 Head Shaker 5 is a 5.0in shad-tail swimbait produced by Kenta Onishi, built around a shad tail whose joint shape, thickness and angle were tuned so it kicks on the lightest flow at a super-slow retrieve yet stays stable and true at speed, driving a distinctive head-wobbling action. A near-flat side profile with a popper-cup-style dish at the front of the body grabs and pushes water for extra thump, and back and belly slits (with an internal rib on the back slit) mark the hook position for a quick, hidden set. This 5in size uses Evergreen's 2020-renewed, slightly softer material dosed with a concentrated New Special Formula shrimp, squid and baitfish scent, and carries a marker showing the ideal hook-exit point when paired with the Glass Ripper skirt.

It holds a stable swimming posture across the widest range of retrieve speeds, from a dead-slow no-sinker crawl to a fast wind, which makes it equally effective on a weighted hook rig or as a swim-jig trailer where precise depth control matters. It carries FECO Eco Tackle certification for JB/NBC tournament use.
