Description
The Clue Base is a centre-balance metal jig designed as the go-to starting point for bay jigging, here at 120g/88mm. Its carefully tuned aspect ratio lets the angler control everything from a medium-speed slide fall to a straight, current-resistant fall just by adjusting thumb pressure on the spool, and a moderate retrieve resistance helps the angler feel changes in the current.
On the jerk, its broad curved surfaces throw off a strong wobble and flash to draw fish in. Clue built the Base to cover fall, dart, flash and vibration at a high level, making it an all-rounder capable of working a full day on the water across tachiuo, seabass, rockfish, flounder and other bay-area fish-eaters.
