Clue Base 100g

The Clue Base is a centre-balance metal jig built to be the reference point of any bay jigging session, here in the 100g/84mm size. The carefully worked-out body proportions let the angler dial the fall from a medium-speed slide right through to a straight, current-resistant drop just by adjusting thumb pressure on the spool, while a moderate retrieve resistance makes it easy to read changes in the current, temperature layers and tide.

Jerked, its broad curved sides throw a strong wobble and flash to pull fish in, and Clue built the Base to combine fall, dart, flash and vibration at a high level so it holds up as an all-round jig across a full day on the water — covering tachiuo, seabass, rockfish, flounder and the rest of the bay area's fish-eaters.
