Description

HILACK (ハイラック) is Buddy Works' rear-weighted sinking pencil, built with a constant 98mm body across three tuned weights (24g/30g/35g) so anglers can rotate models for casting distance, retrieve speed and depth without changing the bait's baitfish-like silhouette. Developed originally as a sea-run cherry salmon (sakuramasu) lure in Hokkaido, the model was found equally effective on flounder (hirame) and is now sold in colourways for both species.

This 35g model is the heaviest and highest-specific-gravity of the three, delivering an average cast distance over 100m and holding its line through wind and chop in deep water and rough surf conditions where lighter sinking pencils lose control.
