Description

The PowerBait MaxScent D-Worm 4.5inch (Berkley D-Worm 4.5inch) is a straight worm that Berkley builds as a low-density model by adjusting the salt content, so it keeps releasing MaxScent's flavour and scent through a slow fall. The maker describes its glossy, undulating action as what draws the strike.

Berkley lists no-sinker, neko rig, drop shot and drop-shot wacky as suitable rigging methods. This listing stocks the CRMMZ (Coral Worm), EBI (Shrimp Miso), GP (Green Pumpkin), GPC (Green Pumpkin Chartreuse), MMZ (Earthworm), NTMMZ (Natural Earthworm), RNMMZ (Rainy Worm) and SCBF (Smoke Cinnamon Blue Fleck) colourways.

Information

The swimming action

Built with a lower-density mix that slows the fall, the glossy body keeps an undulating shimmy going for longer on the drop while releasing MaxScent's flavour and scent throughout.

When to throw it

A finesse option for ponds, reservoirs and pressured major lakes, best when bass are holding tight to cover or suspended and want a slow, natural fall rather than reaction speed.

How to work it

Rig weightless, on a neko rig, drop shot or drop-shot wacky rig, and work it with a slow lift-and-drop or gentle shake, letting the slower fall do the work.

The setup it likes

A light to medium-light spinning rod, a 2000–2500 reel and 6–8 lb fluorocarbon (or light braid with a fluorocarbon leader) keep the presentation delicate enough for wary fish.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
