Description

The Z-SARDINE shares the same left-right symmetrical body design as Zeake's R-Sardine and F-Sardine. A low-specific-gravity zinc alloy (specific gravity 6.8) slows the fall speed for a glittering side-fall action over a shorter distance, while a slim, centre-rear-weighted profile cuts air resistance for solid casting distance and wide-range coverage.

A zinc-alloy metal jig built to trigger the strike response of aomono (blue-back pelagic fish), flatfish, tachiuo (largehead hairtail), and rockfish.

This listing stocks the 40g weight in 10 colourways: Maiwashi (real sardine), Pink, Blue Pink, Rainbow Candy, Zebra Glow, ZG Aka-Kin (red/gold), ZG Green Gold, Purple Zebra Glow, Mud Pink Glow Tail, and Pink UV Zebra.

Note: the Maiwashi colourway photo is Zeake's single official product shot for this pattern and is used as the representative image across the whole Z-SARDINE weight line (20g/30g/40g); the gram weight embossed on the pictured sample may not match this listing's stocked 40g weight.

Information

The swimming action

A left-right symmetrical, zinc-alloy metal jig with a slim, centre-rear-weighted body. The lower-density zinc alloy slows the fall for a glittering side-fall flutter over a shorter distance than a lead jig of the same weight, while the slim profile keeps casting distance high.

When to throw it

Shore jigging for blue-back pelagics, flatfish, tachiuo and rockfish, wherever a jig that falls with extra flash and hang-time in the strike zone is useful.

How to work it

Let it flutter down on a semi-slack line for the side-fall flash, then work it back with a straight retrieve or short jig strokes; vary the pause on the fall to draw strikes from following fish.

The setup it likes

Suits a shore-jigging spinning rod matched to 30-45g jigs, a 3000-4000 reel, PE1-2 braid and a fluorocarbon leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
