Information

The blank

A reworked taper aimed at real-world field performance: the L-S model carries a slow taper for delicate spooning, while the UL-M model uses a regular taper suited to micro spoons and light cranks.

What it's built for

Suited to stepping-up area-trout anglers wanting a field-proven, flexible design across a range of pond conditions and lure sizes, with the reworked taper aimed squarely at confident, repeatable hook-ups rather than raw casting distance.

How it fishes

Best worked with slow, deliberate spoon presentations on the L-S model, or steady micro-spoon and light-crank retrieves on the UL-M, both models rewarding a patient, twitch-and-pause cadence over aggressive rod work.

The setup it likes

Pair with a compact 1000–1500 spinning reel, nylon 2–3lb or Estel 0.3–0.4 line, chosen to suit whichever L-S or UL-M taper is fished and to keep the whole outfit finesse-balanced.
