Information

The swimming action

The Super Slow Sinking version of the 48mm Rolling Bait, carrying the series' tight rolling action in a downsized, lightweight body that hangs in the water column for longer.

When to throw it

Built to avoid trouble on fine line while keeping genuine casting distance, aimed at rockfish (mebaru), sculpin (kasago) and juvenile mullet (meki) with a proper hard-bodied lure.

How to work it

Count it down and work it on a slow, steady retrieve, using the slow sink rate to hold the strike zone longer between pulls.

The setup it likes

Suits a light aji/mebaru spinning rod, a 1000-2000 reel, 2-4 lb (PE0.3-0.5) main line and a 3-5 lb fluorocarbon leader.
