Information

The swimming action

A compact, slow-floating insect profile that sits low in the water and gives a subtle wobble on a twitch, mimicking a struggling terrestrial insect rather than a swimming baitfish.

When to throw it

Best on managed trout waters and lake margins where fish are keyed onto terrestrial insects falling from bankside cover, particularly in warmer months when crickets and grasshoppers are active.

How to work it

Fish it with a twitch-and-pause presentation tight to cover, letting it sit still between twitches to draw a considered take from wary fish.

The setup it likes

Suited to an ultralight trout rod, a 1000-1500 reel, 2-3 lb (PE0.2-0.4) main line and a 3-4 lb fluorocarbon leader for a natural drift.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
