Information

The swimming action

The Stay series is a slim, slow-fall metal jig designed to hang and flutter in the strike zone rather than drop straight down, giving a lingering side-to-side glide that suits fish reluctant to chase a fast-sinking jig.

When to throw it

Suited to slow-pitch and vertical jigging over structure, bait schools and drop-offs for tachiuo, seabass, madai and other bottom and mid-water species, particularly useful when a fast jig is being ignored.

How to work it

Work it with short lifts and long pauses to let the jig hang and flutter on the fall, rather than continuous jerking; varying the pause length is often the key to triggering a bite.

The setup it likes

Suits a jigging rod rated to around 130-180g, paired with an overhead or 6000 spinning reel, PE 2.0-2.5 braid and a 35-45lb fluorocarbon leader. The reel should be geared for a fast retrieve to keep pace with the jig on the pick-up stroke.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
