Information

The swimming action

Onibesque is the heaviest spoon in Rob Lure's besque family, with enough weight to flutter and flash steadily on the fall while still casting easily on light tackle.

When to throw it

Best used at area-trout ponds when fish are reluctant to bite, giving anglers a slightly heavier besque option for windier days or a little extra depth.

How to work it

Cast, let it sink to the bottom, take up slack, pause for around five seconds, turn the reel handle once, pause again, and repeat.

The setup it likes

Suits a light L area rod, 1000–2000 size reel, 2–3 lb line and no leader for stocked-pond trout.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?
