Information

The swimming action

As the standard weight in Rob Lure's core Babel spoon line, this metal spoon flutters and flashes on the fall with a lively wobble on the retrieve, giving classic spoon feedback through the rod tip.

When to throw it

A versatile all-round area-lake trout spoon, suited to searching new water, working different depths quickly and covering a pond systematically to locate active fish.

How to work it

Fish it on a countdown to the target depth then retrieve steadily, or work it on a lift-and-fall; its flash and flutter make it effective as a searching bait rather than a finesse one.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a 5'–6' light area-trout spinning rod, a 1000–2000 reel, 2–3lb nylon or fluorocarbon main line, and typically no leader.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
