Information

The swimming action

The Chug Bug sits vertically at rest and uses its small cupped face to throw a big splash on the pause, working as a classic chugging popper rather than a walking bait.

When to throw it

Suited to bass topwater fishing over calm to lightly rippled water, especially around dawn and dusk or whenever fish are looking up and holding near cover or open water.

How to work it

Worked with sharp rod pops and pauses, its cupped face throws a splash that draws fish in from a distance; it keeps pace with fast-tempo fishing without losing its chugging rhythm.

The setup it likes

A medium-power spinning or baitcasting rod with a fast tip suits topwater rod work, matched to 10–14 lb braid with a fluorocarbon leader on a 2500 size reel.

Straight answers

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

Australia and the US: 7 to 14 business days on Standard or Economy, 2 to 7 on Express EMS. Europe and the UK: 10 to 20 business days, 3 to 7 on EMS. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?

Australia: no duty on orders under A$1,000 and GST is already in the price. US: orders under US$800 clear duty-free. EU and UK: VAT is collected at checkout so nothing is due on delivery for standard orders.

Is it genuine stock?

Yes. Every item is genuine, sourced only through authorised distributors — never grey imports or marketplace resellers.
