Description

SMILE DOG 65 (SMILE DOG 65) is a topwater pencil bait from Pozidrive Garage (Pozidrive Garage), the Japanese seabass lure brand founded in 2015 by RED Nakamura and lure designer Hideaki Iimura.

Measuring 65mm and 6.7g, it uses a smiling-face side-cup structure that produces popping sound and bubbles on a simple dog-walk retrieve, and rod work also lets it splash for a more aggressive presentation. Rigged with #10×2 hooks on #2 rings.

Information

The swimming action

A 65mm topwater pencil bait using a smiling-face side-cup structure that produces a popping sound and bubbles on a simple dog-walk retrieve.

When to throw it

A compact topwater choice for seabass, useful on calmer inshore water where a smaller surface bait with a distinct pop suits the size of bait around.

How to work it

Work it on a simple dog-walk retrieve for popping and bubbles, or add more aggressive rod work to bring out a splashier presentation.

The setup it likes

Suits a 7'6"-8'0" ML spinning rod, a 2500 reel, 8 lb braid and a 14-18 lb fluorocarbon leader.

How is it priced?

We give you the cheapest available price, as we get it directly from the distributors. You pay what an angler in Japan pays, plus postage.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 8 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

How long does delivery take?

10 to 20 business days on Standard (tracked) or Economy, or 3 to 7 business days on Express EMS with tracking and insurance. Every option is priced at checkout before you pay.

Will I be charged import duty or tax?
