Description

The B-Spark 2.5g is a metal vibration lure from Office Eucalyptus, part of the B-SPARK series built around a fast initial vibration on the lift and fall. It uses a rear-hook-only hook setup, per the maker's 2020 spec change; uniquely in the B-Spark range, the 2.5g's eyes are painted green rather than the standard colour.

Designed for area trout fishing, it's built to trigger a fast response and hold on through the fight. This listing spans the full standard B-SPARK colour range (28 colourways) including the Mori Choco special-order runs.

Information

The swimming action

Built around a fast initial vibration on the lift, the B-Spark uses a rear-hook-only set-up to keep hold of strikes that come as the lure settles and slows on the fall.

When to throw it

Suited to area-trout fishing when a quick-triggering reaction bait is needed, particularly on active fish that respond to a sharp, fast-moving lift-and-fall presentation.

How to work it

Lift the rod sharply to trigger the initial vibration, then let the bait fall on a controlled line, watching for a take as it settles since the rear-only hook is positioned to catch fish hitting on the drop.

The setup it likes

A 5'0"-5'6" light area-trout rod with a 1000-2000 spinning reel and 2lb nylon or fluorocarbon line suits this lift-and-fall vibration lure.
